NASHVILLE, TENN.<\/strong> \u2013 Today country superstar Lauren Alaina<\/strong> releases new song “Raining Whiskey<\/u><\/strong><\/a>,” marking her first release of 2026. Following the rise of \u201cAll My Exes (feat. Chase Matthew)<\/u><\/a>,\u201d which she performed on The Today show<\/em> alongside Chase Matthew last year, the song is currently in the top 30s at country radio after being most-added two weeks in a row, marking the biggest first-week streaming numbers of Alaina’s career. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c’Raining Whiskey’ is what happens when heartbreak meets happy hour,” shares Alaina<\/strong>. “It represents a completely different stage of my life than the one I am in now, but it reflects one that I’m glad I lived through. I am happy to finally be able to tell the story of my twenties while living a new chapter in my thirties.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new song \u201cRaining Whiskey\u201d was written by Ben Johnson, Hunter Phelps, Jordan Minton, Geoff Warburton and VWillz. In this new stage of life, Lauren is tapping into her most melodic and sassy era yet: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year was monumental for Alaina with previously released singles, \u201cThose Kind of Women<\/u><\/a>,\u201d \u201cHousehold<\/u><\/a>,\u201d \u201cAll My Exes (feat. Chase Matthew)<\/u><\/a>,\u201d \u201cHeaven Sent<\/u><\/a>,\u201dand \u201cLittle Things<\/u><\/a>.\u201d In addition to supporting Rascal Flatt’s on their Life Is A Highway Tour<\/em>, she co-hosted the CMA Awards Backstage Live<\/u><\/a>, was featured in the ABC primetime special, \u201cCenter Stage: Countdown to the CMA Awards \u2014 Special Edition of 20\/20,\u201d and participated in Variety<\/u><\/em>‘s inaugural Interview Lounge<\/u><\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next Saturday, the Georgia native will join Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, and Zach Top for Live Between The Hedges, taking place at the University of Georgia’s Sanford Stadium. In May, she will participate in ACM Lifting Lives Country on the Green alongside Riley Green, Rodney Atkins and Randy Houser.
